Dear Friends: For the better part of the last decade, we have shared a professional relationship that has been extremely valuable to me. Early in the 1990's Mike Capo followed me for several miles one day on my landscape route to introduce himself. At the time, I was driving a 1986 Isuzu NPR. When Mike approached me in front of a client's house, I thought it was odd that he wanted to talk about my truck, and not ask for an estimate for my services. His purpose of following me was to introduce himself, and make me aware of a new service that he was offering. That service was Capo Brothers Mobile Truck Service. That day, he shared many tips with me in regards to the maintenance of my truck. He proved to me his understanding not only of my truck, but also of my needs as a landscaper and how they pertained to my trucks. He went as far as to provide me with his home telephone number to always be available to me. With that effort, I was confident that Mike was the right person to maintain my truck, and I enlisted his services many times. Mike happily maintained my truck, often in less than optimum weather conditions. When Mike and Frank made the move to a shop, I was invited to see it, and given the grand tour, which consisted of a nice sized work area, a sparkling parts room, and a small desk in the Lobby for Victoria who took care of the new sales department. As the years went on, I had my truck maintained and repaired regularly by your well-trained technicians, and Victoria always took the time to call me and invite me down to see the new trucks. She knew that I was not going to be buying a truck anytime soon, but knew how much I admired the trucks, so she made it a point of informing me when they had new trucks for me to see. Each time, Mike would take me around the new truck, and proudly show them off. I think in looking at the new trucks, we would both come away from them impressed with the quality that UD built into them, and on several occasions, I think I even helped Mike realize unrecognized selling attributes of the trucks. Last year after a relationship that had gone on for at least 7 years, I purchased a brand new 1999 UD 1800 from John. That transaction was the smoothest purchase that I had ever made, the entire Capo team made me proud that I had chosen The UD truck, as well as the Capo family dealership. I'm writing you today to inform you that I have taken a position with a utility company, and will no longer be landscaping, the business will be sold, and I will no longer have a need for Mid duty trucks. I wanted to take the time to let you know that for the past 8 years, I have been extremely satisfied with the service I received from the Capo Brother team. You always gave 100 percent whether it was in sales, service, or parts, and I have always respected you for it. For everything you have done for me through the years, I thank you. I have proudly recommended you in the past, and will continue to do so in the future. Should you ever need a reference, I would be more happy to discuss why I chose Capo Brothers, as well as the UD Truck line and the benefits I have enjoyed due to my choices. I wish you continued success with the construction of the new shop, and hope that you will invite me to share in the celebration of your grand opening, I am grateful for that day in the early 90's that Mike introduced himself to me. Sincerely, Gerard Laskowski |
